Media Scribe was established in 2004 by Maria Koukopoulos. Maria has been helping business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies, as well as non-profit organizations complete their communications to deadline and on budget.
Maria has more than 13 years of writing experience in the fields of media relations, public relations and marketing in the technology, corporate, and non-profit sectors. Her first passion is writing, having a flexible skill-set to write for a variety of audiences. Her second passion is promoting Canadian people, events, products and services. Maria's ultimate goal is always to communicate clearly so that the everyday person can understand, relate and benefit.
She is currently a member of the International Association of Business Communicators in Toronto. And, she has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from York University, a certificate in public relations from Concordia University and she is working towards a business and French translation certificate from Ryerson University to perfect her French.
